arcplan supports the use of user-specific bookmarks in arcplan applications. It is possible to store the settings which represent a certain state of a document by assigning a bookmark name to this state. The state can be restored at anytime by executing a function which reads the settings stored under a specified bookmark name.
Bookmarks are supported for menu objects, hierarchy menu objects, radio buttons, check boxes, column objects, row objects, table objects and cell objects. To use them with bookmarks, the object property bookmark object has to be assigned to these objects.
The new arcplan version saves bookmarks one by one in separate xml files. That means each xml file represents one single bookmark. This bookmark file is named according to the following convention: BM_BookmarkName.xml.
The attached zip file contains a working example, the connection files, a sample access database(training.mdb) that is used with the application, as well as a MS Word document which explains the example and a README.txt document which explains how to set the Database connection up. PLEASE READ THESE DOCUMENTS FIRST.
